Songs From The Inside SEASON THREE enters the walls of Christchurch Men's Prison (Matapuna) and Christchurch Women's Prison. Anika Moa returns to her hometown to lead the journey and is joined by Ladi6, Scribe and Troy Kingi.

Series Two

Premiering on Maori Television, 21 February 2014, the second season raises the stakes with new artists, new prisons, new songs - same unpredictable journey. Series Two pierces straight to the core, opening inside the cells and first confessions of prisoners before they meet their new mentors - Don McGlashan, Annie Crummer and Laughton Kora joining Anika Moa behind the walls of Paremoremo and Auckland Women's prisons.

Series One

First screened on Māori Television in March 2012, the inaugural series stunned audiences and redefined reality television: Four leading musicians, Anika Moa, Warren Maxwell, Maisey Rika and Ruia Aperahama enter Rimutaka Men's and Arohata Women's prisons in Wellington, New Zealand and challenge students to find and face the music.
